MISSION

Ways & means are to be identified, practiced & developed for achieving the vision.Electrical Maintenance

In the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Block the wording "Also three generators of capacity 62.5 kVA, 110 kVA and 180 kVA are also being maintained" should be replaced by "Also four generators of capacity 62.5 kVA, 110 kVA, 180 kVA (green DG set) and 380 kVA (silent DG set) are also being maintained". Further in the HOME page under the heading Features "*180 kVA Generator power supply to the needs of Labs, Classroom and Admin Block" is to be replaced by "*380 kVA Silent Diesel Generator power supplies to the needs of Labs, Classroom and Admin Block". "Solar PV Generator of 15 kVA is functioning in the main block to cater to the main block stand-bye power supply need".

The department consists of one Professor and three Associate Professors and eight Assistant Professors to cater the need of Electrical and Electronics Engineering branch. Six lab- assistants are supporting the maintenance of various Laboratories Viz Electrical Machines Lab, Power Electronics Lab, Electric Circuits Lab, Measurement & Instrumentation Lab, Control systems Lab, Power System simulation Lab, Electronics Devices and circuits Lab.

VISION

To achieve at least 80% of graduation initially & additional 5 % in steps in every year.
To motivate he students to present minimum of 5 papers in each class per year combined in symposia / National conference and to staff to present at least 5 papers for the whole department inclusive of international conference & journals.
To arrange one guest lecture / seminar for each class per year.
To encourage the students to attend in plant training
To arrange one industrial visit per year for each class per semester.
To conduct one FDP and depute staff members to attend at least one FDP outside per year.
To achieve 25 % of placement in the forthcoming year.
To conduct either one national level technical symposium or national conference.
Inventory of books in Department library shall be enhanced at the rate of 50books per annum.
